Through the medicine of Mayan cacao, Held seeks to create spaces of possibility, where everyone feels safe to reconnect to the earth, to themselves and to each other.

Cacao is a gentle plant teacher first used by the ancient Mayans to connect with the natural world and activate the heart space. Held seeks to honour and uphold the seed, story and sacred plant spirit of Mayan cacao. My ceremonies and cacao sales are in service to preserving the Mayan cacao narrative so that awareness and respect for the original seeds and stories is central to the experience.

We are not here to take, We are here to be messengers. We continue her work, we carry her consciousness. We resume our most ancient role: To be good caretakers of the seed. We live in sacred exchange by never taking more than we need and always giving something in return.
